The design for the new facilities of Hope Clinic Lukuli have been prepared by John Sauder of EMI in consultation with the existing medical staff at the clinic and with input from the medical professionals among the Friends of Hope Clinic.

The construction is following designs by Engineering Missionaries International (www.emiusa.org) and they are supporting us further with structural and architectural recommendations. Our great appreciation must be noted to John and Chet of EMI and to our "construction supervisor" and God-send, M.L. Swanee Schwanz, who are constantly improving the designs and specifications to improve the patients' facilities and minimise the construction costs. Swanee's dedication to our project and the team of Ugandan builders he has developed has been the huge factor in its rapid progress.
