The charity was formed to enable supporters of health care
to the poor in Uganda to more efficiently provide funding to that
cause. Through our primary project, the Hope Clinic Lukuli, outside
Kampala in Uganda we can assure those that make donations that
none of their money is used in the cost of administering this
charity and their support, plus Gift Aid, is entirely available
for the community health project.
The UK charity has been wound up in 2013, with a final donation to the Ugandan clinic. The decision was made following the death of two of the UK trustees and the change to a self-managing Ugandan board at the clinic. The trustees in the UK, Switzerland and in Uganda welcome your continuing interest in the Hope Clinic Lukuli and can be contacted via charity@hcluganda.org or philip@hcluganda.org
The charity's registration number was 1105373 and its objectives
were set out in a Trust Deed signed on 11 December 2003.
